If the US Congress does grant Bush the authority to wage war, unchecked and unbalanced, it is almost a foregone conclusion that Bush will do just that.
I propose that if Bush goes forward with his murderous plans the citizens of the United States declare a general strike. Stay home from work and school.
The US economy cannot stand many more blows, and neither can Bush's political power base. There are cracks in the foundation of the Bush tower and we can help that tower to crumble.
If you agree that a general strike is a constructive response to Bush's war machine, pass the word to your friends, family, and colleagues. If we shut down this country perhaps the politicians will listen.
